Curved Leg Side Table
Well, we are moved into our new house in Michigan.. for the most part. It has been an exhausting few weeks to say the least. I am really looking forward to getting into a new routine. One thing that we needed right away was a small side table for our living room. It needed to be narrow enough but have a nice place to set a drink after a long hard day. Jamie found one that she liked on houzz so naturally I knocked it off for about a third of the price. We were able to build this one for under $50. I hope you all like it as much as we do!

- Qty 1 – 2 x 6 x 8′
- Can use scrap; two 17″ lengths required
- Qty 1 – 2 x 2 x 8′
- Qty 1 – 1 x 10 x 4′
- Qty 2 – 1 x 6 x 8′
- Qty 3 – 1 x 2 x 8′
- 1-1/4″ Kreg Pocket Hole Screws (Coarse)
- 2″ Finish Nails
- 1-1/4″ Wood Screws
- Wood Glue

How to Build a Side Table
Note: Make sure you do not select “fit in page” when printing the leg template. This will cause the template to be resized to fit within your margins.
Note: I didn’t drill the pocket holes required to attach the top and shelves in this step but had to go back at a later step and drill them. They would be a lot easier to add before assembly.

Hey Jim, I needed to include two PDFs one for the plans and one for the template so I made this downloadable a zip file which many seem to be having issues with. I have now separated them out so it should work fine now. Sorry about the issues
Any chance you still have the template? I am new to woodworking and love this table. I would like to make it, and I know the pdf plans would make it so much easier.

She never got around to posting about it… and now with the house flip I’m sure it won’t be anytime soon! But She stained the board, then sanded in random areas and white washed with Rust-Oleums serenity blue chalked paint, she then dry brushed the serenity blue on top of that.

Hi, quick question. I’m trying to cut the curved leg pieces and I’m using a jigsaw. Do you have any advice on how to get both legs to match? Is my best bet to cut them, then clamp both together and sand both at once? I’m horrible at cutting curves!
